Hi everbody, another quick update on this project :D

One important thing for the basket was the water gun, which i have created next.
The steps were basically the same as for the pipe system; "thermoformed" small clear acrylic rods, added some polysterol rods in smaller diameter as well as polysterol pipes in larger diameter. I even reused the remaining leftover of the Engine 68 deck gun (which i dissasembled for the tiller ladder).

Oops wrong text

The last pictures show how i changed the appearance of the emergency lightbars simply by using self adhesive chrome foil as rotators. Ohne very little detail that bothered me with all the diamond plate FDNY Seagraves ever since. Especially the all over red „rotators“ with the clear dome.

Yes i´m still working on it! 8-)
And since i´m trying to create as much details as possible, it quite often got out of hand, and i´ve wasted so much time for something that went into the bin :x
Allthough i would like to have every small detail working and not just attached to the model (especially WORKING lights  ), i´ve finally realised that overall this is just a model for display and doesn´t have to "work" on a daily basis
Even though, there we will be a lot of working features once it´s done for sure :D

Detail is good! I'm amazed at your patience. I don't have the patience or skill for something like that.

Amazing skills.
Thank you again :D
I‘m a bit further with the progress on this project, just haven‘t had the time to post it properly here, but this will follow the next few days 8-)

...Ok it´s been a bit more than just a few days  , but i was more in the contruction than the posting mode
So at least a lot more progress with this build!
The next pictures show the further completion of the ladder turntable by adding 1mm styrene sheet stripes to the frame and the beginning of the pipe system.
