Hi again!
I haven´t posted anything since February  but the building continued :D . So another update on this project.
Following i show you the progress on the basket which is almost finished now.

After the basket "frame" was done i´ve build the tool box, which will be placed on the outside of the basket and i drilled a hole into the bottom for the watergun.

This was followed by creating the joystick console for the basket controls.

and the Basket control in place.

Then some further details, like the support for the outside grating, was build of "t"-shape polysterol rods.

And the parts in place on the basket bottom. That´s all for this update, hope you like it!

I´ve further build the whole extendable pipe system, but this will follow with another post :D

Then, as promised, the building of the pipe system.
First the supply line, which comes out of the turntable base, and the piece on the basket bottom on which the water gun will sit later on.
Since there is not really water flowing  , those parts are made out of 4mm clear acrylic rods which can be carefully bend by holding over a small candle.
It took me some tries  , but finally i´ve got the form i needed :D

Followed by the more complicated form on the turntable :?
And the rest of the extendable pipesystem, created out of styrene tubes and even a drinking straw  (since this was the only part, in between the different diameters, that let the pipes properly extend and retract).
