1992 CHP Crown Vic

Post by Sirentoys » Sun Jan 28, 2024 3:33 am

Another Greenlight model. This started as a Black Bandit model. The ghost markings were removed and the roof and doors painted. I added InQuarters decals and 3D printed push bar and Whelen speaker to the front. I stripped the light bar and repainted in the CHP set up. It is here that I learned that GL has at least 3 different versions of the Vector. When stripping the light for some reason it clouded up a bit. So I grabbed one form the parts box. The mounting posts were in different locations. So then I took one off another more recent model and it had even different post pattern than the other 2. So I just repainted the light bar and then a brush of Future floor polish which did remove some fo the clouding on the clear pods.

Once again, I thought it would be a quick fun build...but no.

Nice work. The push bar makes a world of difference in the look of the car
