Code 3 Caprice PSP

Post by Sirentoys » Sun Dec 27, 2020 4:31 am

This one has been sitting in a box for close to 20 years. I stripped and painted it white back then. I figured it was time to either finish it or pass it on. I went the former route. A combination of Chimneyville and Pursuit Plastics decals were used. As a note some of these sets will break down over time. Especially those long stripes. I had to get a beater Code 3 to get the red pods I needed on the light bar.

Not great but happy to have it done. These 1/24 models are OK and I am sure someone could do some super detailing on them. I kept it basic.

Great work! The Code 3 caprice is not a bad little model and your custom work looks great.

Thank you for sharing

Thanks. Yes the C3 are decent models. Problem is now parts cars are expensive to buy because of shipping and people think because they are old and out of production they are valuable. But yet I can’t give my extras away.

I was glad to get it done after sitting under the work bench all these years.
