I've seen a few of these on Ebay over the years, and they usually bring a pretty good price.

Thanks for sharing

That's by AutoArt, right? I have their NYPD and LAPD cars. Very nice model, one of the best police models in 1:18 scale.

Yes it is the Auto Art FCV. For me the best ever made 1:18 scale Ford Police Interceptor.
And especially this demonstrator vehicle is really very very rare :o
The LAPD version was the vehicle that got me into this Hobby and that was around 2002 :?:
Until that time there was basically no decent modern US Police car on the market at all. At least here in Germany.
Only some toys (far away from being anywhere close to an existing emergency vehicle) and older versions of the 40s, 50s or so, but even they were very rare.
And since there was, and still isn‘t a modern style ambulance (Ford F, Dodge Ram, Chevy heavy duty) in any scale available, I started to make my own ones back then :D .

"And especially this demonstrator vehicle is really very very rare..."

As Homer Simpson would say... Doh ! ! !

I bought that Demo Car when they first came out. I then turned it into my very first 1:18th scale custom which I still have.

However, my very first 1:18th model was the U.T. Models L.A.P.D. Caprice, immediately followed by the Auto Art L.A.P.D. Ford Crown Victoria...two extremely fine replicas. As of that moment I was hooked.
