Toronto Fire Tahoe

Post by Rich » Mon Mar 19, 2018 9:07 pm

Here is the first of some custom Toronto Fire FRR Tahoes. I took one of the Tahoe's from my premier run, and removed the door handle tampo printing. Then I drilled six holes in the roof for the antennas. Even if they don't use six antennas, they have the locations pre-wired in this configuration. I used tall and short FRR stubby antennas, Next up came the layered decals covered in another post. I made the rear traffic direction device and mounted it to the roof. The green command beacon is one of the FRR beacons from the Twin Beacon Ray set up, with a black base. The lightbar is one of my laser cut Whelen style. I added black "D" posts and black visor using decals. The license plates are not installed in these photos.

Rich,

I continued to be inspired by your work. It isn’t just the craftsmanship and attention to detail. It is also the amount of research you put into models to get them “right”.

Nice job.

Jeff
