Volvo Tanker

I did this model a number of years ago basing it on some rigs that were prevalent in the New Hampshire area where I attended a fire training school each fall. The model is 1/32 scale combining a Volvo kit cab and two bodies from a Monogram Mack pumper kit. This was well before I began doing decals on the ALPS so it was a matter of using whatever I had available at the time.

A few things I would have done differently had I done it today. But alas, it was done probably 25 years ago. The portable tank can be set up and unfolded but I wouldn't want to put any water in it!
