Looks great even with starting over!

The basic cab construction is now complete. The new doors have been built and hung (but will be removed for painting). Interior panels have been made and new windshield glass is done. Making up for all the mistakes on the first cab! Bumper done, new headlight bezels cast and the lenses salvaged from the old cab.

I'm making a new mold for the headlights. Not included in the first go around were the corner lights that were next to the headlights at the round corners. So I made a new lens bezel with the attached corner light and will cast it for both sides using this one as the master.

Here's the first part of the mold done and awaiting the next part of the box to be glued down for the second pour.

With the casting done I gave each a coat of Molotow chrome using the 1 and 2 pens. Not a bad result on bare resin. The lenses are done but will not go in until the bezels are mounted on the cab. Clears in the ones with the turn signal attachments and red for the warning lights that go above them.

Ah so nice sitting back and watching how this masterpiece unfolds seeing your skills I think you could develop models for AMT Revell or whatever company during your downtime

Well that’s the time when you relax, sit back, enjoy looking at others work…
But yeah seeing your work, in that short period unfold, amazes me. Truly inspiring, thanks for at least taking some time to share you progress with us
