ICM Model T Fire Truck - has no one built one?

Looking to see if this kit has a pump, or they simply pressurized the tanks before the run

It. Looks like a chemical tank model.

Those were probably soda and acid tanks like the small one on the running board. No pump on this rig. There was a container of acid that sat inside the tank and a quick hit on the plunger broke the container and let the acid spill out into the soda and water. It generated a gas that pressurized the tank. When they got back from the run they had to put in a new container of acid. JMHO.

Thanks, I always wondered how those old brass soda extinguishers worked, same principle I guess. Saw this kit (with figures!) at an attractive price and was looking for incentive to buy and build, but I really don’t need another project right now

Actually what made the acid hit the soda was that the acid container was rotated by way of the wheel at the back of the cylinder. I forgot to mention that in my crude attempt to explain the action.

Thanks, now I see the big handles on the back serve a purpose!
