Mayfair 1/64th 1970 Chevrolet Modulance - new decals

[M1968Q]

As some of you know, InQuarters recently released a new set of 1/64 decals for ambulances seen in TV shows, primarily of the 1970s. This release afforded me the opportunity to update the handmade Mayfair decals I had done several years ago for my 1970 Chevrolet Modulance, as seen on Emergency! With this new sheet I'll be able to make the Ford version, and others too. Here is my re-decaled ambulance, along with Squad 51 on a followup to Rampart.

Turns out pretty nice I would only change the wheels to the hub cap Version, as they had it on the show. Doesn’t Greenlight also have those chevys with hub cap tires?
Building one in 1:18 scale is also on my list but i don‘t know when i will have the time for it. The donor vehicle is allready sitting in my cellar for several years now
So many projects in my head but one lifetime won‘t be enough to realise all of them

Thanks! You're right about the wheels, but I built this one several years ago, when GL first released these Chevy models, and at the time the wheels you see were all that they had available. That obviously changed, but for sentimental reasons I've kept them the same. I'm working on a Ford version next and that one will have the correct wheels.
