Fire Replicas with snow chains
Fire Replicas with snow chains
I finished this off for a guy in PA. He had another guy make the snow chains. Turned out nice.

Re: Fire Replicas with snow chains
I remember back in the late 60's & early 70's as a volunteer in Allegheny County, Pa (Pittsburgh area) having to jack up the rears on our engine and aerial and put on the chains whenever they predicted snow. Our station was at the top of a very steep hill. This was way before On-Spot automatic chains.

This guy is in Westmoreland County, he remembered those years as well. Thanks for your note.gafireman wrote: ↑Thu Feb 27, 2020 8:57 pmI remember back in the late 60's & early 70's as a volunteer in Allegheny County, Pa (Pittsburgh area) having to jack up the rears on our engine and aerial and put on the chains whenever they predicted snow. Neat idea! I don't think I've ever seen anyone do that before!
