For the price it is pretty good. I am happy to see them do it. I think most of us would have preferred something more modern and usable on the Dually trucks they already have.

As for the design choices, it definitely is a Wheeled Coach model from the unique grille. Maybe they will have a standard Ford grille coming but I doubt it. The Lightbar could be better. But easily changeable. I have the blank, FDNY and EMS on preorder but won't be a completist.

I am guessing you could just swap out the grille from the 92 F250 model, to make it a non Wheeled Coach. Although very much welcome, one does have to wonder why they chose a 30 year old ambulance. The box is not all that outdated, but the choices are very limited. A new box for the current generation would be welcome. At least the cab and body are not one piece.

The lack of side mirrors is still a pain in my side when it comes to Greenlight.

Waiting is the name of the game when it comes to Greenlight. I wonder what always takes them so long to get products out.

I remember my days as a diecast dealer it took at least a year from start to finish to get a model in the hands of stores/collectors. Greenlight seems to like ot announce their models as soon as the idea comes into their head. Hence the seemingly long lead time to get new models out. I think if they waited a little longer to announce new models, they might a bit more satisfaction. That and some quality control.

The blank white now pushed back to Feb/Mar. By the time they get them out, a year will have gone by.
