By coincidence I was at the Greenlight open house today. I was able to pick up 2 of the preproduction models. They look good for the price point. These are crude hotel photos. I will get more take and loaded over the next week or so.

I just wanted one for measurements and to use for scale work. Good grab Jeff, I am jealous.

I dont.... hate it.....A little detail work and these will be pretty decent models I'm betting.

We can talk. I was quite fortuitous on getting these. I also managed to grab the 3 NYC EMS upcoming models too, Caprice, Fury and new Suburban. I will say the Suburban looks good.

What a great haul!! The Suburban does look good. Any sign of the upcoming Suburban ambulance?

I think the Ford Ambulances look pretty good, especially when you remember they are +/- $10 item.

The suburban looks like they came out well also.

No there wasn't. There were only a couple tables of prepros shown and all were soon to market models. I will share some more photos as I can. I really didn't take too many. It was more of a warehouse sale than a meet and greet.

I did speak with the VP of Sales for a few moments and suggested offering the emergency models as kits. He said it was a different import code. But I said there is a big opportunity for those and parts packs. I would say he was receptive, but I have history with them not being so.

I agree for the price, I am happy with it. It has potential. I do wish it was a more modern unit or not so department specific. But it has potential. And I can sell of some of my Code 3 stash to recoup the costs of these.

I see my FDNY ones are in stock waiting on other models from my order to ship.

The Suburban is quite nice. Now how they will be to customize, is yet to be seen. They had a raw one on display. I wanted to grab it just to customize. :)

Jeff, because the ambulance looks like the Code 3, can you do a size comparison? I am guessing that the Code 3 was copied, minus the opening features. If so, I can continue to use one of them for size work.
