According to his recent Facebook post, these have not even gone in to production yet. He says that they are scheduled for production in late March or April. I had thought since he was taking money for "orders" that they were produced. Apparently, he has several years worth of prototypes he keeps showing, saying its not the final version.

I just did a quick look at the site. I agree, working lights are not necessary. And looking closely it appears that the booster hose guides are way out of scale. Wheels look like they could use some work also.

I followed this production on Instagram for several years. A few times I mentioned both some good and bad about the model along the way, but over all had hope. Anyway when the pre-order came out I pointed out some short comings and asked about if they would be corrected for production? They did not respond just blocked by me.

Speaks volumes to me about them as a company!

Has anyone gotten a model or a refund or any sort of notice of shipping? Anything? The Facebook page is gone now.

I'm interested to know that too. despite my love for all things LA County, I never bit the bullet on this one since he never showed a finished product. Too pricey to make that gamble for me.

I suspect the models have had no activity yet, seem between various sites and collectors someone would have posted something by now.

Honestly the website looks like something that was done by a 3rd grader and not a professional company. I just hope those that ordered get made good.
