Anyone catch this? Just saw this posted by Awesome Diecast - they have it as a pre-order $99.95

Looks really nice. Even though the scale is off from what I usually collect I will really consider adding it.
However I may give the LA co Fire Museum to see if they are going to have it in stock. First I want ot support them. Second they may have it cheaper as Awesome Diecast is not the cheapest place to buy from.

I pre-ordered a squad. 1/50 is my primary scale, & 1/43 is the only other I do. Hopefully it will be scale accurate. Based on then saying available in January & the status of the "supply chain" politics, I expect maybe July. The news that one of the pumpers will be out later in 2022 is encouraging. Hoping for both pumpers, but would prefer the Ward first. It's nice to be able to buy something. The only other 1/50 items lately are FAR beyond affordable, especially now being retired.

I believe they are here stateside - one vendor DiecastModelesWholesale.com has them listed as in-stock. Looking forward to seeing how this turned out.

Diecast Direct has them as available next week. A good place to do business with.

Mine arrived about 5 minutes ago. Very well done &, without measuring, seems good scale wise. The only thing I can see that may be an issue for someone, is the rear facing amber lenses in the light bar aren't there. All in all, well worth purchasing. I won't give away the surprises on the back of the shipping slip.

Thanks for the review. Hopefully mine will arrive soon. As for the rear amber, it's a pretty easy add-on. I did it on a few FRR cars. Just a decal, a little resin, and clear amber paint.

I may do that to one of the two I have. One stays untouched. I haven't decided if I want to attempt removing graphics on one. I have had bad luck with paint coming off many pieces even when using non-acetone polish remover & Q-Tips (gently) & without my "shop" being in business, repainting is out.
