Some fun

Post by Rich » Mon Jul 19, 2021 2:30 pm

I found these Kinsmart Mercedes Benz Sprinters on Ebay. They are advertised all over the scale range, from 1:40 to 1:48. They are a bit small for 1:43, so they may indeed be 1:48 scale. However, 1:43 scale parts and decals look good on them. They are pull back type of toys, with opening front doors. The detail is really good for a toy. The rear doors open, and have plastic glass. No simulated glass on either side. The best part, they are between 6-9 dollars, depending on who you buy from. Probably available in certain toy sections at stores and certain toy retailers as well. For the money, its a nice breath of fresh air.

That turned out nice.

It is always good to find inexpensive projects that can give you freedom to work them in your own little way.

Great work like usual. No resemblance to a toy anymore!

Can't wait to see what you do with the red one.
