Fire Replicas You'd like to see

Post by Alfyboy » Wed Sep 30, 2020 11:46 pm

I was an early and often purchaser of Code 3 products back in the day. The price point made them quite attractive and I amassed a great collection. F.R. is now the standard, but the price point and my current situation in life means I have to be highly selective and patient. And by patient I mean I have to anticipate that eventually they're going to get to them all. So I limit my purchases to two models a year and then only to models I personally find aesthetically pleasing; nevertheless, there are models that I have in mind that I would have to grab regardless. The recently released FDNY ALF w/ the extended cabs is an example.

Here's are my top 3 models I would have to purchase if and when F.R. builds them no matter what!

1) ALF Tiller particularly one lettered for FDNY or San Fran
2) Mack R Rescue FDNY
3) Mack CF Engine w/ extended cab for FDNY or Chicago

Feel free to add.

I love the choices being made since the reality is if there is a license agreement with a department or OEM the chances are much more realistic. It just may take a while to see some of these.

I do limit my purchases and occasionally consider selling off the lot i have because they release just enough models that I want but can’t justify. An example are the ALF CTC models. I waited 30 years for someone to do them and the they come out just as I need to pay for college.

But if the Mack R rescues or the Mack B Searchlight come out I will jump on them.
