Steer clear of this guy.

Post by Rich » Thu Mar 05, 2020 1:50 pm

Our friend Greg Reynolds has had a problem with Ken Shupinski from Ken's Model Emergency Vehicle Parts. Seems he closed up shop without sending out orders or refunding money. And, he is a firefighter in Pottstown PA as well.
From Greg Reynolds on Feb 25th:
Here's an update on my issue with Ken Shupinski and Ken's 1/25 Scale Model Emergency Vehicle Parts.
After telling me in a FB message on Feb 10th that he will reship my order from Dec 20th that I never got, I have still not received it. I went to message him this afternoon to discover that either that account no longer exists or he has blocked me because he is now listed simply as "Facebook User" and I am unable to reply to the prior messages.

Since I put this up on my Facebook page, two others have come forward with the same story. If you have had a problem, let someone know.

Your friend should email the Fire Chief of his Department. That may get some results?

I filed a claim with PayPal last month. I also contacted the Fire Chief in Pottstown, PA and explained briefly what was going on. The chief responded and said that Mr Shupinski was not an active member of the fire department, but had been approx 10 yrs ago. He said he would attempt to look into it and recontact me.

Today PayPal refunded my money because Shupinski failed to answer any of their attempts to contact him about resolving the issue.

if you have his address, pay him a visit, with a Police Officer.

Sadly, The Police wont have much teeth in this issue. He agreed to pay for an item and the item was never given. Making this a civil issue that would have to be resolved in civil court.

But, his money was refunded by paypal, which is the best out come.

Then paypal should file a telecommunication fraud charge against him.
