Chicago Snorkel is up on Fire Replicas

The Seagrave Chicago Snorkel, this truck is remarkably done. This was the last Snorkel “company" ordered by Chicago, it is the 1982 Seagrave/Pierce 85’ Snorkel.
Snorkel 1 received this truck in May of 1982, and it also ran as the 2nd piece for Squad 1 for a number of years. The rig was a Reserve Snorkel for many years, and was taken out of service in 2017. After serving the city for 35 years it is now owned by a private collector. The details on this model are just outstanding, and that long boom really adds to the beauty, all of the pin stripping on this truck really catches you eyes.
