Re: AZ DPS Mustang GT

As alway top notch. And I am a sucker for non-standard units.

I dont think I have ever seen a Del Prado ambulance. Were they one piece cab/box?
I don't think there were any. A lot of the Del Prado stuff was 2 piece. It was just wild speculation on my part trying to figure out why they would do this particular model.

Re: Greenlight 1:64 scale ambulance

I've been digging through some boxes and came across the Del Prado copis of the Code 3 models. It got me thinking. I took a look at the new GL unit and it has all the hallmarks of the DP models. I am wondering if GL got access to molds for models DP never released or had in planning. It wouldn't sur...

Re: Crafty people

The new 2022 is a welcome addition. I have a few projects planned in it. The gap is the 2016-19 versions. Years ago, we might have someone do a resin body to go on the chassis of an existing model. Now a 3D printed might be an option but the costs would be big. Plus I have yet to get a 3D print that...

New Greenlight Prepros

Here are a couple photos from the Greenlight open house. The 1/25 scale caprice looks pretty good. Hopefully we will see a blank white with wheel and light bar options. BUt for my PA SP modle I will need a custom light. The Suburban is a nicely done casting. I like the Tudor for an old school model....

Re: Greenlight 1:64 scale ambulance

Photo etch would be cool. I know there are a couple 3D print guys who do mirrors for the Greenlight Fords. I was looking at them because one of My Pittsburgh Code 3 ambulances needs one.

I don’t care if it is an emergency vehicle or not. You can post your stuff all day any day. Tremendous model.

Re: Greenlight 1:64 scale ambulance

I think the Ford Ambulances look pretty good, especially when you remember they are +/- $10 item. The suburban looks like they came out well also. I agree for the price, I am happy with it. It has potential. I do wish it was a more modern unit or not so department specific. But it has potential. An...

Re: Greenlight 1:64 scale ambulance

What a great haul!! The Suburban does look good. Any sign of the upcoming Suburban ambulance? No there wasn't. There were only a couple tables of prepros shown and all were soon to market models. I will share some more photos as I can. I really didn't take too many. It was more of a warehouse sale ...
