That's what I was thinking too. Just wondering what others who've built it have done first. I will make it into the current configuration of my restoration (since replacing the Mars bar with a single Tripp Lite)

Resin Question
I recently acquired the NEO 1972 Dodge Polara resin kit. Does anyone have experience with one? Is it like other resin kits in that it needs to be degreased with Westley's Bleche-Wite tire cleaner before prime/paint? What other cleaners have you used for prepping resin kits for paint?

Sorry to change topics, but any inside news on the other releases of the '72 Polara that they were going to do? Or if those subsequent releases are still going to happen?

Re: Chicago Police 1961 Checker Marathon
I did not want to reveal my source for the extremely accurate Chicago PD decals in 1/43, but if you don't mind- I don't mind either.
Thank you Rich for the remarkable job you did in replicating the markings in miniature. (Even though still I wish you would also do them in 1/25)

Re: Chicago Police 1961 Checker Marathon
First off, thank you for the kind words about my cars. I try to get them right. While I will agree that the tooling of the '61 Plym and '63 Ford appear to be nice, the Chicago PD graphics are way off. There is no way I would spend that much money on something I then have to strip and re-decal to mak...

Chicago Police 1961 Checker Marathon
Not a dream or fantasy car. Chicago PD put several Checkers on the street for evaluation as a patrol vehicle in 1961. I found the 1:43 diecast version on eBay years ago and used decals and emergency lights from my spare parts box.
