Fantastic work!! These cars are really pretty good, I wish we could see a 90's version caprice someday too.

Thanks for sharing
Thanks Steven! While I wasn't a huge fan of the real 90s "bathtub" Caprices, I'll take them in scale. :)

Chicago PD 1980 Chevrolet Impala_1/43 Greenlight

The 1/43rd 80's square body Caprices from Greenlight are great models to work with! Here is my re-do of the 1980 Ground Hog Day movie model with the lightbar from the Home Alone 2 movie model. I took it apart, stripped it down, and repainted it with Duplicolor automotive paint. I removed the clear r...

Re: Goldvarg 1970 Ford NYPD RMP

I bought this one too and while overall I am pleased with the model, I am a bit disappointed by the inaccuracies and shortcuts that were taken to produce a model I never thought I would see in 1/43. To add to what Dick said, two other issues pop out. First, the chosen unit, 2269, is actually a 1969 ...

Great work Mike...It looks perfect! I just watched "The Convention" episode last week. For my own bit of trivia, a few years back my wife and I stayed at the same Sheraton hotel where the guys stayed it in that episode.
Thanks Troy - and that is a great bit of trivia :)

San Francisco FD Battalion Chief - 1977 Plymouth Fury - 1/43rd Greenlight

Next up in my "Obscure Vehicles Seen on Emergency!" series of builds is this 1977 Plymouth Fury for the San Francisco Fire Department. For those of you who remember the 2-hour movies, this replicates the chief's car that Johnny and Roy are driven to the dockyard fire in towards the end of "What's a ...

Here's my guess. Knowing that Greenlight does not change much that LA County could be this with a surf board on it.
I totally forgot about that body, which is strange since I have several of them :) Another senior moment.... :)

One can only hope the LA County Dodge Ram is a squad.
Believe me I share your hope Stuart, but my Spidey-sense suggests it will just be the pickup painted red - hopefully I'm wrong.

Sorry, Steve. It already has been spoken for.
Hopefully you'll still have it in July, Covid-permitting. ;) :D
