Re: 1941 Kenworth
If anyone was interested, the engine sold for $209,000.00. I wonder if the buyer has other fire trucks in their collection.

Re: 1941 Kenworth
This is a 360 degree tour of the rest of this man's collection. There appear to be other fire related items in the collection if you look closely. The amount of the collection is staggering. I thought I had collected too much stuff, but I'm not even an amateur compared to this magnificent collection...

1941 Kenworth
This would make an interesting model. It somewhat resembles Chicago's Autocars.

Re: Interesting Find...
Great article. I was just looking at my copy of the Model Car Science magazine a couple of weeks ago. I had saved it since I was a kid.

Re: Larry Philips Collection out for bid
Thanks for posting this Joe. I hope most of his collection falls into good hands. Completely agree, Larry was very passionate about this hobby. Sad to see stuff he had collected over the years up for auction. On a side note, is it bad that I am having a hard time finding something I don't have? I h...

Re: Inspection Photos of Engine 17 and 113
I don't want to be a nit-picker but before I contact them, I was wondering if anyone else received an Engine 113 or 17 with a white outline on the pump panels. The grill and headlight being slightly off is probably a one timer but I wonder if the white outline is on all the models. I put arrows in ...

Re: Inspection Photos of Engine 17 and 113
Just got my Engine 113 and it is awesome. However I'm a bit disappointed in the quality. When I looked at the front of the engine I noticed something was not right. I realized the front grill was sloped down on the officer's side and the officer's side headlight sloped down towards the engineer's si...

Re: Oshkosh Striker
Not bad looking, but not much description as to plastic, diecast etc. Something that popped up on page while looking was a listing for a one of a kind Conrad tiller. I immediately figured it was a custom made but upon looking at it, it almost appears to possibly be a prototype. Does anyone know anyt...
