Very unique find there. I still think this would make an amazing collectible but since it's a "one of" I doubt the investment would be made.

Re: Inspection Photos of Engine 17 and 113

All of those issues are definitely noticeable. With the reputation for exacting quality FR has, I'm sure they will resolve the issue. I just hope this isn't a sign of things to come, a company just churning out rig after rig hoping nobody will notice and just suck it up. For the price they are, I ce...

Nice, but how nice would a Type-3 of that be? Cal Fire? Ventura CoFd? That would be great.
Very nice and unique...I wish they would make some more FDNY pieces...Oh wait, they did. My credit card is still safe.

Re: Multiple layer decal work NYPD ESU Ford

Amazing and perfection at it's best. Why don't you just print out your decals on a label maker and slap them on a car to sell on eBay like the rest? That was sarcasm by the way. It's unfortunate that kids now days will have no idea or respect for the work you have done for the past 40 years. ...

Re: Photos from Firehouse Expo

Thanks for the photos Joe, my credit card is safe until they finally decide to make something some this side of the country. I know CFD and FDNY make money, but I can't believe San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, Las Vegas, Phoenix, CalFire, etc, etc aren't popping up. Personally, I'm over the FDNY...

My Chicago Tower arrived a couple of weeks ago, looks fantastic. I am collecting only classic releases from Fire Replicas. Would be great to see an old Walters ARFF unit for LaGuardia Airport1

Re: Larry Phillips

Liked him...disliked him...or never met him. Either way, he had a passion for the hobby just like the rest of us and it's just another example of our little adventure drifting off into the sunset. I'm glad to have met him, and his knowledge will definitely be missed, and probably never matched.

Re: New 1/64 Announcement From Greenlight

This is something I had hoped for quite a bit before I dumped 1/64. Wondering if they will have side view mirrors. I doubt it since this is a real photo now. There are dozens of GL models without mirrors. Something that has always bugged me but when they're in your display case, you don't really no...
