Speaking of the surfboard, this onefollowed next 8-) I basically drew a free hand shape onto some cardboard and traced it onto a 1mm styrene sheet, once happy with the shape. After reenforcing the compartment frame, the rear section base was done.
I even incorporated small 2mm bolts into the base for better attachment to the chassis
