Re: Kess 1/43 NYPD 68 Plymouth Fury,

This looks really good (except for the fender skirts), a good companion to the three Goldvarg NYPD green/white/black models. I have the other three Kess police cars. Couple years ago the base on my San Carlos Chevy model warped (it was in a case, not in direct sunlight) and I wrote the company three...

Re: Goldvarg 1970 Ford NYPD RMP

Thanks for making the point about the hubcaps, I forgot to mention that.

Goldvarg 1970 Ford NYPD RMP

Received my Goldvarg resin NYPD 1970 Ford Galaxie a couple of weeks ago. The car model itself is outstanding and the graphics and colors are great. The model was based on a photo of an actual NYPD 1970 Ford. The only letdown is the roof light, which should be a Beacon Ray on an extended base (to cle...

Goldvarg Releasing First NYPD Model

The first NYPD resin model from Goldvarg, the 1970 Ford Custom, is about to ship. Sergio has posted four photos of the final product on his Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/goldvargcollection). Overall it's gorgeous, though I could quibble about the emergency lights. It's so rare to get an NY...

Re: very rare model (1/18).

That's by AutoArt, right? I have their NYPD and LAPD cars. Very nice model, one of the best police models in 1:18 scale.

Re: Goldvarg Gets NYPD License

He just told me via a Facebook post that the 1970 Ford will be released in September and the 1953 Ford Courier ESU REP in December. Didn't give a release date for the '58 Ford.

Re: Goldvarg Gets NYPD License

I finally got around to just asking Sergio Goldvarg about the light on the 1970 Ford since he's released a lot more photos of the model; he confirmed that the photos are still of the prototype that was done for the Toy Fair and the final product will have a red light (the real one was a clear dome w...

Re: Goldvarg Gets NYPD License

Goldvarg now has multiple photos of his NYPD models posted on his website. They are all listed as "under development" (I hope that means there's still a chance he will change the blue light on the '70 Ford and put proper police wheel covers on the '70 and '59 Fords.) There is no release date and a f...

Re: Goldvarg Gets NYPD License

Here are some photos from the Goldvarg display at the Nuremberg Toy Fair, posted on Sergio Goldvarg's Facebook page. Still needs to change that light on the '70 Ford. He also plans to do additional police cars - he has a photo on his page of a '58 Ford in Ohio State Patrol markings, but it's on a ha...
